| Description Ärentuna Church Ärentuna Church lies in the countryside to the north of Uppsala. The church was constructed near the end of 13th century by use of granite stone and bricks and dedicated to the Holy Virgin and St. Leonard.. The nave had originally a wodden barrel vault, formed as a cloverleaf. Beneath this was built brick vaults in 1435 which was painted around 1450 by the Ärentuna master. The bell-tower was reconstructed in 1772 |
