Description
The church was built in the 15th century and probably replaced an older church and has a medieval rectangular structure. Short after the church was supplied with two vaults. Around 1480 the walls and the vaults were painted by Albertus Pictor who was at that time established as a church painter around the Mälaren see.
The church is small but the complicated stellar vaults give the possibility to place a large number of pictures in the fields limited by decorated ribs.
